Since its release in 2000, the 940 Osborne has been considered by many to be one of the greatest everyday carry knives ever created. From the day-to-day duties of law enforcement officers to the top of Mount Everest, the 940 has performed a wide array of duties in all types of environments. Now, for the first time in history, the 940 will be made with G10 handles and CPM-20CV blade steel. The handles will be layered black and blue with a smooth finish and the CPM-20CV blade steel offers performance characteristics similar to M390; which is well known for great edge performance and excellent corrosion resistance. The 940 Osborne designed by Warren Osborne with it’s reverse tanto design, a somewhat trademark of Osborne’s. This gives the tip of the blade a unique and dramatic look, and also means the blade holds it’s thickness almost to the tip. Knifeworks is excited to announce the 940-1501 as a Knifeworks Exclusive.
