SPYDERCO FB44GP RESPECT FIXED BLADE
DESCRIPTION
Spyderco founder Sal Glesser has always liked Bowie Knives, and his Respect design pays tribute to the classic American Bowie Knife while expressing it with state-of-the-art modern materials.
The heart of the design is its blade, which is painstakingly crafted from CPM® 154 stainless steel. The Respect’s broad, satin-finished blade is just over 1.5 inches (38.1mm) wide and features a full-flat grind for both strength and superior edge geometry.
The long, straight, double-beveled swedge on the back of the blade is unsharpened..
To achieve a near-seamless, one-piece feel in the hand that highlights the handle’s refined ergonomics, they are secured by stainless steel Torx® screw
The Respect is furnished with a high-quality, handcrafted leather sheath with both a conventional belt loop and a brass stud. The stud secures the end of the sheath’s leather retaining strap to keep the knife in place. It prevents the sheath from slipping down when it is worn using waistband carry.
